Joe Brady is the Senior Partner and a Principal with Supply Chain Edge. Joe is responsible for the development and execution of all marketing, branding, business development, and alliance creation activities for Supply Chain Edge. The Supply Chain Edge marketing and business development strategy targets relationships with the private equity community, privately-held manufacturing and distribution businesses, and companies in distress.
A sales and marketing veteran in the logistics and supply chain solutions marketplace, Joe brings twenty-five years of sales and marketing experience to Supply Chain Edge. For most of his career, Joe has worked for start-up and entrepreneurial organizations. He has played a pivotal role in the accelerated growth of those organizations. As a front-line salesperson for many years, he earned numerous honors as a top salesperson. As a senior manager and officer, he was responsible for the development of new products and services, built and led successful sales teams, and helped define and craft the strategic direction of these enterprises. Joe has significant expertise in developing profitable business opportunities.
During his time with Supply Chain Edge, Joe has served many customers and verticals. Just some of these organizations include Morgenthaler, The Riverside Company, KPS, Insight Equity, Hayward Industries, Hayes-Lemmerz, The Wasserstrom Company, Bendix, and Materion. Prior to Supply Chain Edge, he worked with numerous customers in the Fortune 1000, including Wal-Mart, Kmart, Eckerd Drug, Kimball International, Sara Lee, Revlon, Johnson & Johnson, L'Oreal, Bayer, Applied Industrial Technologies, and The Hon Corporation. Additionally, Joe has served on a number of logistics and supply chain councils on behalf of his customers.
Joe is a graduate of the University of Dayton and the Case Western Reserve University Professional Fellows program. Previously, he served on several non-profit boards including Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Northeast Ohio, the National House Association in Lorain County, and Witness Justice in Washington D.C. Joe is also a member of the National Industrial Transportation League, the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals, and the Turnaround Management Association. In his spare time, Joe is a student and teacher of Tae Kwon Do, a Korean martial art. He lives in Avon, Ohio with his wife and their three children.
