David A. Durtsche is a Senior Operating Partner with Supply Chan Edge who specializes in helping organizations find solutions to their Supply Chain strategy and performance needs. He has extensive experience across several industries in designing and implementing high performance processes and systems. Mr. Durtsche has had the opportunity to help numerous multi-billion dollar firms increase profit and market share. Prior to joining Supply Chain Edge, Mr. Durtsche was a Senior Partner with TranzAct Technologies, a Partner with Computer Sciences Corporation and has held senior level Supply Chain Management positions with several Fortune 500 firms.
Mr. Durtsche holds a B.A. degree from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota, and did graduate work at the University of Minnesota. Dave served as the Partner in Charge and co-author for a year long research effort between CSC and the University of Tennessee for the Council of Supply Chain Professionals (formerly CLM), which resulted in the book, Keeping Score - Measuring the Business Value of Logistics in the Supply Chain. Recently he was a member of the Oversight Committee for the research project on Communicating the Value of Supply Chain Management to Your CEO. As an active member of CSCMP, Dave has held numerous offices in the organization: Past President of the Twin Cities Roundtable, Co-founder of the Heartland Roundtable, and a recent Member of CSCMP’s Executive Committee.
Mr. Durtsche is a frequent speaker at CSCMP events, various universities and professional seminars / workshops in the USA and Europe.
